  • Delivering Continual Professional Development (CPD) - creating an annual continual professional development & educational framework to maintain & develop our Pharmacists & Pharmtechs professional pharmacy knowledge
  • Delivering Customer Care (for all) & Leadership training in partnership with the Spire training organisation
  • Delivering tailored individual Patient Care reviews
  • Increased use of technology & software to improve the delivery of Pharmaceutical care eg Pharmacy Medication Records (PMR), Drug interaction alerts, drug information, expiry warnings & patient SMS reminder alerts
  • Developing the role of the Pharmacist &Pharmtech in improving the Health of the nation by defining their role in providing first line healthcare, Improving Standards & Delivery
  • "Kill the counterfeit" by sourcing high quality product through reputable pharmaceutical wholesalers, providing an audit track on all supplies
  • The introduction of Consulting facilities in each pharmacy allowing;
    • The delivery of quality/consistent Pharmacy Professional Services– Blood Pressure testing - Blood Glucose testing & monitoring - Emergency Contraceptive advice - Malarial testing, prophylaxis advice & treatment options -Personalised Medicine Use Reviews, getting the best from your medicines - Minor ailment treatments - Health, Lifestysle & Wellbeing Coaching
    • Providing a platform for value-add services: consultation with healthcare providers, pharma & skincare companies e.g. Astra Zeneca ‘Centres of Excellence’
  • Defined the role of the Pharmacist as expert in health & beauty
  • Customer/Patient Healthcare Education incorporated in Monthly themes focused on Healthcare advice
    • Advice delivered by Pharmacists & Pharmtechs
    • Education leaflets for customers
    • Signposting to other quality healthcare providers when necessary
